1. How much H2 should I consume daily?
Answer: We have found that a minimum of 1-2 tablets per day is required. Experiment up to 4 tablets. You cannot overdose.
2. What type of water is best to use to prepare my VR Tablets?
Answer: For best results use water as close to 7 pH as possible (purified). The colder the water, the slower the reaction. The warmer the water, the faster the reaction.
3. What type of vessel is best?
Answer: It is easiest to drop the tablet in an open glass. The speed of reaction and volume of hydrogen created saturates the water and leaves a cloud of gas for a short period. For best results, you want to drink the water as soon as possible. Allow for roughly ¼” headspace.
4. How long do I wait when preparing my Vital Reaction H2 beverage?
Answer: VR Tablets dissolve in under 2 minutes. For best results drink your beverage relatively quickly, literally as soon as the tablet finishes dissolving! A therapeutic range of molecular hydrogen will last for up to 60 minutes.
5. Should I add anything else to my water?
Answer: Water is enough, but if you want to add lemon juice or drop a VR Tablet in apple juice or a sports beverage, go for it! Many prefer adding to lemonade.
6. What if there is residue or undissolved chunks left?
Answer: This is just undissolved magnesium, and it is perfectly safe to ingest. In fact, it will just react in your stomach to create even more H2, so drink up! Sometimes the delicate chemistry of our tablets and the reaction with water leave some remnants of the magnesium, especially if the water you used was extra cold.
7. Is this product natural?
Answer: Yes. The reaction between elemental magnesium and water creates molecular hydrogen (a molecule comprised of 2 hydrogen atoms). This is the Universe’s oldest atom, not much could qualify as more natural!
8. Are there any side effects from H2?
Answer: In over 800 published articles, no side effects have been observed. Hydrogen is used to prevent decompression sickness at thousands of times higher concentrations. Note that these tablets do contain magnesium- so exceeding the RDA of Magnesium can have associated conditions (i.e diarrhea). There may be slight bloating due to drinking gas nanobubbles of H2. Due to hydrogen’s elemental properties, some have reported a slight film when in contact with gold or silver fillings; simply rinse your mouth out after drinking your VR beverage.
9. Is this the same as consuming hydrogen peroxide?
Answer: While popular in some circles for claimed therapeutic benefits for specific ailments, food grade hydrogen peroxide [H2O2] is in no way similar to dissolved molecular hydrogen [H2] other than they both contain the word ‘hydrogen’. Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidizer and is used as a bleaching agent and disinfectant. [H2] is a reducing agent/antioxidant.
10. Is the tablet or water explosive or flammable?
Answer: No. The levels of magnesium in the Vital Reaction tablet are too low to be flammable, as is the level of hydrogen in the water created.
11. What am I supposed to feel when I take my VR Tablets?
Answer: Results will vary just as each individual’s level of free radicals and oxidative stress varies. It typically takes 4 weeks to feel We’ve heard the following testimonials from a wide range of ages (4-80yrs):

12. What is the difference between taking magnesium vs. taking Vital Reaction Tablets?
Answer: Magnesium does not produce molecular hydrogen gas. Only elemental magnesium can produce nanobubbles of H2 gas when reacting with any non-carbonated beverage.
13. What are the ingredients in the VR Tablets?

1. How much hydrogen versus oxygen are you getting?
Answer: The inhalers produce tasteless, odorless and non-toxic molecular hydrogen gas at either 7% or 2% depending on the unit. The other 93% and 98%, respectively, is the general air we breathe.
2. What kinds of water do the Vital Reaction 7% and 2% inhalers use?
Answer: Distilled water in the top container to the fill line, and cool tap water in the side canister to the fill line.
3. What is the difference between the 2% and the 7% inhalers?
Answer: The 7% inhaler produces higher levels of hydrogen, so your sessions are only 30 min versus 60 min on the 2% unit.
4. How often should I use it?
Answer: As often as you like, but at least once per day. If you are battling an active health issue, 3 or 4 times per day is recommended.
5. What are the plates made of?
Answer: Our patent covers both Titanium and Iridium plates.
6. How long does it take to feel the effects?
Answer: Some people do not actually feel anything, which is okay. You will still receive the therapeutic benefits of hydrogen therapy. Others have relayed effects such as an overall sense of wellness, focus, sharper vision, stronger immune system, etc.
7. What is the benefit of using the inhaler versus the tablets?
Answer: The inhalers offer a larger concentration of hydrogen, and since it is inhaled into the lungs, the hydrogen can permeate into the heart and bloodstream more quickly.
8. How long does the hydrogen stay in the blood after an inhaler session?
Answer: About 90 minutes.
9. What makes your unit better than the competition?
Answer: The Vital Reaction inhalers automatically measure and regulate the amount of hydrogen being generated, as high levels of hydrogen gas can be explosive. This measuring mechanism is the reason our units stand above the rest and are guaranteed to be safe.
10. How do the Vital Reaction inhalers make hydrogen?
Answer: Our inhalers create hydrogen through electrolysis. A water molecule is formed by two elements: two positive Hydrogen ions and one negative Oxygen ion. The water molecule is held together by the electromagnetic attraction between these ions. When electricity is introduced to water through two electrodes, a cathode (negative) and an anode (positive), these ions are attracted to the opposite charged electrode. Therefore, the positively charged hydrogen ions will collect on the cathode and the negatively charged oxygen will collect on the anode.

When these ions come into contact with their respective electrodes, they either gain or lose electrons depending on their ionic charge. (In this case, the hydrogen gains electrons and the oxygen loses them.) In doing so, these ions balance their charges, and become real, electrically balanced, bona fide atoms (or in the case of the hydrogen, a molecule)1 . We use Proton Exchange Technology (PEM) and include high performance components with a state-of-theart approach to manufacturing. Like the most expensive computers, Vital Reaction inhalers operate on either 110 or 240 volts without a transformer.
11. Why are there no peer-reviewed studies using high-percentage (over 10%) inhaled hydrogen for medical use?
Answer: High percentage inhaled hydrogen is dangerous. It is explosive and requires a rider on your liability insurance policy. You may be covered if your clinic is using oxygen. Check with your agent if you intend to use inhaled hydrogen at a percentage over 10%. If you purchase such a unit for home use, be aware. Do not use around fire, flame, or even static electricity. Vital Reaction inhalers are perfectly safe as our units are the only ones on the market that come with a built-in hydrogen regulator/monitor. It keeps hydrogen at safe levels, so you’re never at risk.
